We have been privileged to have been involved in the restoration of this iconic New Plymouth church.
The highlight of this project to date has been the erection of a scaffold tower around the church spire so it could be removed for repairs. A key requirement of this work is that the church remains open therefore all our scaffolds must be built with public safety as top of mind so the congregation can continue to gain access to church.
This provided us with the opportunity to showcase our expertise and professionalism as the tower needed to be freestanding of the spire. Through our association with Layher New Zealand, we were able to access their specialist team who provided us with the necessary engineering support which enabled us to build a free standing scaffold without the need to tie into the church tower.
Our own team of specialists were then able to build the scaffold exactly to the engineer’s specifications which met the needs of our clients.
